Founded in 2009. Buyer-Aligned Since Day One.

Home Inspector Twin Cities was started in 2009 by Mike Petersen, a former general contractor who got tired of seeing buyers handed cookie-cutter inspection reports written to keep deals moving — instead of reports written to actually protect them.

15 years and 3,000+ inspections later, we've stayed independent and buyer-aligned. The majority of our work comes from referrals and Google reviews — not from feeding agents the reports they want to see.
